To:Reunion Committee-Classical 1966
Before I forget, I want to thank the Reunion 1966 Committee for the invitation to attend your 40th reunion. It was a` wonderful event and perhaps the best reunion I have seen. The` attention to detail, the thoughtful and detailed posters, the fine food and the renewal of old acquaintances were all top notch. You and your committee are to be congratulated. There was nice article in today's Telegram and Gazette on the reunion, and you were appropriately quoted. In the many years I served as`a principal in the Worcester Public Schools, I had` frequent ( often too frequent) occasions to visit the Central Administration Building, the former Classical High. There was not a time I went in there that I did not have some nostalgic reminiscence of the "good old days". Had the school remained open, I might well have` continued in teaching, I enjoyed it that much. It was nice to see Mr. Dumphy, and Mrs. Stead again, but it was particularly rewarding to see the` class. When you teach, you never know whom you are reaching, motivating or inspiring, and to meet and share memories with this splendid group of adults who have done so well in the real world was particularly gratifying. Thanks again for your gracious invitation Sincerely, Bruce E. Wells
